CorelDRAW and its purpose

A vector-based graphics editor, CorelDRAW is similar to other softwares like Illustrator and photoshop. You can draw pictures in it, edit or color them. CorelDRAW, used for designing a lot of things, is great for vector drawings/designs. From creating beautiful brochures to books, logos, invitation cards, booklets, and flexes, you can draw anything you want in it. It is also for creating illustrations for children’s books.
Who invented it?
CorelDRAW or Corel graphics suite 1st version was invented around 30 years ago and released in January 1989. Pat Bernie and Michel Bouillon developed this software. Its latest version, released in March 2021, includes features like multi-page views, replace colors, perspective drawing, multiple views, multiple asset export, etc. It is available on iPad, web, Windows, and Mac.

People or businesses who are in the advertising and marketing field use CorelDRAW a lot. Also, working on it is easy as it has a user-friendly interface which lets beginners work on it easily compared to other softwares.

1. You can use it to convert raster images into vector images.
Raster or bitmap images are pixel-based, which means if you zoom them too much, you can see the pixels, or it starts pixelating. Whereas; vector images are mathematical formulas and, you can zoom them as much as you want. They will not pixelate. If you want to convert your raster image into a vector one, you can use CorelDRAW.
