If you want to know how to manipulate text in different shapes or on a curved line in Photoshop. Or how to curve it, make it in a fish shape, arch, or type it in a circle or star shape.
1. How to Warp text in the shape of a Fish.
- Click on the text, open the text box, write your text.
- Click on the text, then click on the T on the top bar. Right now is on none here. You can see different options, and one of them is fish. Click on it and then press ok.
- If you do not like the fish shape text option, then you can try other options like the arch, arch lower, arch upper, twist, squeeze etc.
2. How to Write Text around a Circle, Square, or any other shape.
- Select a shape. I have selected a circle. From the top left change it from shape to path and the color to none.
- Now again select the text option and hover it over the circular path. When you see the curved line click on it and start writing, your text will automatically follow the circle path. Remember when you are hovering over, click only when it shows the curve line.
- You can also rotate it or increase or decrease the size (ctrl+t). To rotate- go to edit=> transform and rotate.
- The same way you can also write your text in a flowing line.
- Instead of a shape, select the pen tool, click on the curved pen. Draw a flowing line, then repeat the same process, hover the mouse, and click on it when it shows the curved line. Start writing. Your text will follow the curved line.
