How to Create Gifs from Pictures in Photoshop in 5 Easy Steps

Creating gifs in Photoshop is pretty easy. Gifs are trending and everyone is making gifs if you want to make your own animated gif or just want to learn how to make a gif from pictures in Photoshop then let’s start.

How to make Gif in Photoshop

Step 1

Open ps => Go to file => scripts => load files into stack => browse => select all images.
The image you want in your gif and hit ok.

Step 2

Go to windows => click on timeline => create frame animation

Step 3

Go to the timeline menu => make frames from layer

Step 4

Hit play. Check if it is too fast or slow. To slow down the gif adjust the seconds to 0.5 or 1.0 on the frames and play again. When you are happy with how your frames look it’s time to export your gif.

Step 5

Click on file => export => save for web

The file format should be gif.
Keep the color setting to maximum.
If you are making it for social media then do reduce the file size as full size can make your gif a little slow. It may lool or play smoothly on your ps or laptop. You can keep it at 70 or 50 as you like.
